Rodney Margison Photography is located on the third floor of the historic Village Green Building at 61 West Main Street in downtown Nashville, Indiana. Open by appointment only, we are specialists in all types of portraiture, particularly cutting-edge senior portraits, and wedding photography.
Meet Rodney
Rodney Margison is a Christian, a father, a husband and a photographer. He has been photographing professionally since the late 1970s when he first picked up a camera in high school and immediately began taking sports and spot news pictures for his local daily newspaper in Columbus, Indiana.
Since then, he has worked full-time in a variety of capacities within the photography industry, including as a staff photographer at both daily and weekly newspapers, a photography lab manager for both traditional and digital imaging, a studio photographer, camera salesman and as a freelance photographer.
Rodney’s images have earned numerous awards and recognitions for both him and the publications for which he has worked through the Hoosier State Press Association, Kentucky Press Association and Associated Press Managing Editors.
He shoots entirely using digital camera equipment and can transmit photographs from the field on deadline. Rodney also maintains a 35mm film system should needs so dictate.
